Just can't figure out what's wront with my SanDisk SSD protable drive...
At the first day I receieved the delivery and tried using it with my Windows PC, I observed some strange bebaviour:
If I use a ASIX USB-A Hub to connect this SSD to my PC, then:
- Read works fine.
- Write works fine.
- Could NOT reach the maximum speed.
If I directly connect this SSD to one of my USB-A port (at the right side) of my Dell laptop, then:
- Read works fine, with maximum speed.
- Write doesn't works.
- Here, "does not work" means: Get a speed strike about 800MB/s at first, then sweeply plummet to zero.
- And
I was completely frustrated, try to update drivers and even reformat my whole disk, and all to no avail.
So how I finally addressed this issue?
Change to the USB-A port to the left-side one. That's it.
Seriously, why?
Here to clarify, My USB-A port on the right-side works well with other devices (for example my USB-A Hub), only when connected to this SSD will it cause the "data write stuck" issue.
